Explore modeled county-level mammography estimates across Illinois. Select a county to see its estimate and uncertainty.
State Cancer Profiles · women ages 50–74 · 2021–2023.
This is a different age range from the main Illinois analysis of women ages 40–74, so the county map is a related geographic indicator—not a geographic allocation of the statewide overdue estimate.

What the map measures
Modeled county percentages for women ages 50–74 reporting a mammogram within the past two years, covering 2021–2023.
How counties are joined
County estimates are matched to county polygons using Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) codes. The map changes the presentation, not the underlying screening estimates.
Why the denominator matters
The county source uses ages 50–74, while the main Illinois screening-gap pages use ages 40–74. The two views should not be treated as one directly decomposable dataset.
